Devon School of Reiki is proud to have been one of the first schools in the UK to offer Usui / Holy Fire® Reiki.
Our Usui / Holy Fire® Reiki I, II & ART courses remain in line with traditional Usui Reiki teachings with ignition & deeper exploration of the Holy Fire® Reiki energies introduced at Master level.
We continue to honour our strong Usui Reiki lineage and the traditional teachings of (Mikao) Usui Sensei, as well as recognise that there are now over 100 systems of Reiki being taught throughout the World. We trust that Students will be guided to the correct system, master & school for their learning and respect all lineages and therefore promote the inclusive nature of Reiki.

Reiki I is an experiential journey into awareness of the world of energy, in order to enhance the balance between one’s physical, emotional & spiritual bodies. The first level is an introduction to working with energy in a practical way and therefore allows one to practice on family and friends, but with an encouraged focus on self-healing, the foundation of all practice.

Reiki II embraces the continued commitment to the principles of Usui Reiki, re-establishing the importance of the self-healing journey with focus on the heart realm and shadow work. This is a Reiki Practitioner Class, preparing the student through continuation of self-healing, case studies, distance healing techniques and further symbol placement to set up in Professional Practice, should that be their guidance.

This class enables Students to become an Usui / Holy Fire® Reiki Master Practitioner by learning further advanced Reiki techniques, receiving the Usui Master symbol and setting intention to fully process the Master Usui Reiki energies, as always with focus on continued self-healing. It can be seen as a ‘stepping stone’ and introduction to Holy Fire energies before taking the decision to move on to the full Usui/Holy Fire® Master Class teachings & ignitions.

This Reiki Masterclass is an in-depth 3-day healing experience of Holy Fire® Reiki energies, ignitions and teachings. Students are provided with an ICRT (International Centre of Reiki Training) Manual covering all aspects of online and in person Usui / Holy Fire® III Reiki training including exploration of the 12 heavens, Soul & Spirit definitions, full descriptions of the various Holy Fire experiences, placements & ignitions held within the system.
Case studies, essay writing, journaling and ongoing study are encouraged as part of the Master’s commitment to enable deeper understanding and exploration before stepping into the role of Teacher.

This is an advanced Reiki system of various levels taught only to those who are trained to Reiki Master level. The course includes the teaching of eight Karuna Reiki® practitioner symbols, one master symbol, toning, chanting and ignition to the Holy Fire® Reiki energies.
Karuna Reiki® opens the student to work more closely with all enlightened beings, including those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit. In learning Karuna Reiki® the student is guided towards a greater understanding of oneness and our natural wish to extend compassionate action to benefit all.

This two-day Reiki Drum Practitioner Course is direct from the lineage of Michael Baird & Sarah Gregg and is a wonderful complement to an existing Reiki practice. Reiki Drumming is a beautiful fusion of Reiki, sound healing & shamanic practice. Reiki Drumming introduces the drum to assist in channelling Reiki energy into a person’s energy field to encourage a state of deep relaxation, releasing tension and reminding the body of its optimal vibration. This course is suitable for all who are trained to Reiki II and above.
Students to source their own drum – we recommend the Remo 3.5 x 16inch Buffalo Drum
We recognise that it is not always possible to travel for training and for some, there is a preference to learning in the comfort of their own home. We are therefore delighted to offer an online learning option for the majority of our courses with real-time teaching from our Principal, Sam Goddard.
